Black Pepper Steak Marinade
Rich & Robust Flavors Come Alive
The natural spice of black pepper is soluble in alcohol. So when you add a bit of Everclear® to this zesty steak marinade, those flavors become all the more enticing.

Ingredients:
2 tbsp. Black Peppercorns
1 tbsp. Sichuan Peppercorns (or add an additional tbsp of Black Peppercorns)
1 tbsp. Coarse Salt, or 2 tsp. Kosher Salt
1/4 c. Everclear®
1/4 c. Parsley, finely chopped
1/4 c. Thyme, finely chopped
3 cloves Garlic, smashed
1 tbsp. Honey
2 tbsp. Water
2 tbsp. Olive Oil
1 tbsp. Lime Zest

Instructions:
In a mortar and pestle or food processor, pulverize the peppercorn and salt. Rinse out the mortar with Everclear and pour into a bowl.
Add the herbs, garlic, honey, water, olive oil and zest. Mix and pour into a sealable bag.
Submerge the steak in the marinade and tightly seal the bag. Let marinate for one to four hours in the refrigerator.
Let the steak get to room temperature before removing from the marinade and cooking in a hot cast iron pan.

Please Enjoy Responsibly
