CHOCOLATE FONDUE

DELECTABLE DIPPING.

Perfect for celebrations, date nights, or a boring old week night, EVERCLEAR® Chocolate Fondue is the perfect addition to your dessert lineup.

Espresso Dark Chocolate Fondue

Ingredients:

¼ c. ground coffee beans
½ c. EVERCLEAR® Grain Alcohol
¾ c. half and half
Pinch of kosher salt
12 oz. dark chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl, add the coffee and pour the EVERCLEAR over to make a quick infusion. Let sit for 2 to 3 minutes then strain through a fine sieve into another small bowl. Set aside.
  2. In a 2-quart saucepan, heat the half and half on medium low and bring to a simmer. Remove from the stove, add the salt and stir in a tablespoon of the coffee extract (save the rest of the extract to use in chocolate cake or brownies). Stir with a rubber spatula to mix the coffee evenly throughout the half and half.
  3. Add the chocolates to a medium glass bowl and pour the hot coffee half and half over the chocolate chips. Let the chocolate sit for a minute so it begins to melt, then starting in the center of the chocolate, use the rubber spatula to stir small circles to build an emulsion. Continue stirring, slowly increasing the size of the circles as the center gets chocolatey and shiny. Stir until completely smooth. If a few lumps of unmelted chocolate remain, pop the bowl into the microwave for 3 to 5 seconds and stir again until smooth, about 30 seconds.
  4. Pour the prepared EVERCLEAR Espresso Fondue into a fondue pot and serve immediately with your favorite dippable treats like strawberries, angel food cake, shortbread, and more.

 

Vanilla White Chocolate Fondue

Ingredients:

¾ c. half and half
1 tbsp EVERCLEAR® Grain Alcohol
Vanilla extract
Pinch of kosher salt
12 oz. white chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. In a 2-quart saucepan, heat the half and half on medium low and bring to a simmer. Remove from the stove, add the EVERCLEAR vanilla extract and pinch of salt. Stir with a rubber spatula to mix the coffee evenly throughout the half and half.
  2. Add the chocolate chips to a medium glass bowl and pour the hot coffee half and half over the chocolate chips. Let the chocolate sit for a minute so it begins to melt, then starting in the center of the chocolate, use the rubber spatula to stir small circles to build an emulsion. Both recipes serve 8-10 and have a total prep and cook time of 20 minutes.
