DIY DISINFECTANT WIPES

DIY DISINFECTANT WIPES FOR A GERM-FREE ENVIRONMENT – ALWAYS ON HAND.

Effective, affordable and easy to make at home, these DIY disinfectant wipes made with EVERCLEAR® Grain Alcohol provide peace of mind for a cleaner, safer environment.

What you’ll need:

EVERCLEAR® Grain Alcohol
Paper Towel Roll
Water
Essential Oils
Liquid Measuring cup
Jar with lid
Chef Knife
Cutting Board

Instructions:

Step 1: First, carefully cut the paper towel roll in half using the chef knife and cutting board. This may require excessive force.
Step 2: Then, squeeze the halved paper towel roll into the jar. Start by compressing the bottom of the roll to fit inside the mouth of the jar, then slowly shimmy and push the roll down into the jar.
Step 3: Remove the cardboard roll from the center of the paper towels in the jar. This may require pulling the center upward, then ripping the cardboard into smaller pieces to take out.
Step 4: Using the measuring cup, mix 1 ½ cups of EVERCLEAR Grain Alcohol with ½ cup of water to create a diluted solution.
Step 5: Add in a few drops of your favorite essential oil and mix the solution together. This will add a scent to the wipes.
Step 6: Carefully pour the liquid mixture into the jar, ensuring that the entire paper towel roll is saturated. Let the solution soak into the paper towels. There should be a small amount of liquid at the bottom to hold in the moisture of the wipes.
Step 7: Pull one wipe from the center of the jar to make it easy to access wipes from the middle. The wipes are now ready to use! Use these wipes to clean up spills, messes, and disinfect different surfaces in your house!
