A Cure for the Commonly Cold.

Great for keeping your hands and taste buds warm, this recipe brings a twist of pear and spice as an alteration to the classic hot toddy.


1 oz. Pear Anise Liqueur
1½ oz. Bourbon
½ oz. Lemon juice
4 oz. Filtered water
Star anise (optional)
Lemon twist (optional)


  1. Combine all ingredients in a pan and heat on stovetop.
  2. Pour into coffee mug.
  3. Garnish with star anise and a lemon twist.
